After purchasing the transfers, we were checking the website for additional information (specifically, which side to print on), and read the other reviews. We were a little leary after reading, but decided to give it a go. They are great! After washing, you can't even feel the iron on. The biggest difficulty was that the the directions didn't say which side of the sheet to print on (and like the other reviewers have said, print on the white side). Other than that, just be sure to use a hot enough iron, and leave it on for the full 30 seconds. If it still isn't transferring, try another 30 seconds. We used these to make shirts for our home-based business, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I will be buying more soon to make t-shirts for the rest of the family.

Terrible. But it's the best of a bad situation. None of the Avery trrnasfer products seem to work well. But out of all of them, this is the best. That being said; it's still garbage. The instructions are convoluted and too indirect. The estimated time of three-minutes per average full sheet was ridiculous. I spent at least twice that long and still ended up with a poor result. When the transfer finally worked, the edges weren't clean (to say the least), and the image peeled very easily. Total waste of money buying this product. Would've wasted my money on the shirt as well if the washing machine hadn't decimated the remaining transfer clean off the fabric. Hard to understand, difficult to work with, questionable results at best, does not last.

So disappointed

Comments about Avery Iron-on Transfer Paper:

I bought this product to make monthly onsies for friend. The first 7 turned out ok then all of the sudden then were ripping up in random places and even straight through the middle of the design. Even worse was When I did the washing and drying and the others that were ok, are now cracked and falling apart. I pretty much wanted to cry. $50 dollars worth of onsies now ruined! Never ever using this product again!

Comments about Avery Iron-on Transfer Paper:

This product was extremely difficult to use. I followed the direction to the letter and it made no difference. When after the transfer FINALLY stuck to the shirt, this took a total of 2 hours to accomplish, it peeled and lifted as soon as the shirt was worn. I chose Avery because I have used your products before and have always been satisfied. This is one product I will NEVER buy again.

    Hard to Apply

    By Anonymous

Comments about Avery Iron-on Transfer Paper:

Decided to try make shirts just for fun with some old clothes I found. The instructions were rather hard to follow and I had to read them over a couple times before somewhat figuring out what I was supposed to do. Overall the printing was easy... the main difficulty came with attempting to attach the picture to the fabric. It says to iron for 3 minutes for a full sheet, I have to iron for at least 5/6 with the same heat as requested and had to repeat the process of trying to peel it off and then re-ironing multiple times. In the end I got so frustrated that I just pulled the sheet off even with the tearing edges... All i can say is that if you don't mind a faded/scratchy looking finish then you'll love your outcome. I just had higher hopes for this product.

    Disappointed to say the least

Comments about Avery Iron-on Transfer Paper:

I was all excited for this.... then I did it. The system is simple enough however the image kept tearing (even after reapplying heat) and "stretchable"? HA! I stuck my arms up into the shirt to check out the image and it cracked EVERYWHERE! It doesn't stretch by any means of imagination. Also peeled off the shirt. Will be throwing away the other sheets obviously. Such a waste.

Comments about Avery Iron-on Transfer Paper:

Unbelievably Horrible Product...Wasted $15 on Transfers and $18.00 on T-Shirts. Transfers are ABSOLUTE TORTURE to apply (kept lifting in spots) and then the image crumbled and cracked when washed in cold water. I can't believe that anyone has had success with this product...unless they just haven't washed the item yet; they will be unpleasantly surprised. I have used and liked Avery Products for years so this was a true disappointment.

Comments about Avery Iron-on Transfer Paper:

I am downloading all this software for the 03302 Stretchable Fabric Transfer and got the whole Designe Pro 5. Now I have to get Design Pro 5.4 and they both have no product code for the 03302. I tried to use any other program just to make it work but I have to flip the picture. Rotate ..I don't have one. I can probably find a program to do this but I just spent my entire day following your instructions after I payed $15 after tax for 5 transfers that I can not use after 6 hours of following your instructions on the INSTRUCTIONS THAT CAME WITH IT.

    Didn't work at all.

Comments about Avery Iron-on Transfer Paper:

I used the transfer on a black t-shirt. It took several tries to get the transfer to stick. Then when I removed it, I saw nothing. Just the glue adhesive. Ruined an expensive shirt. In small print on packaging it says "for white t-shirts". So don't try on dark clothing, it doesn't work.

Comments about Avery Iron-on Transfer Paper:

The transfers were very easy to apply. However, it seemed that the printer ink seemed to bleed on the paper (but that could have been our printer settings) which was a little noticeable on the finished product.

    Stretch Your Imagination!

    By Anonymous

Comments about Avery Iron-on Transfer Paper:

Avery's new stretch - flex transfers make creativity fun! The best part of all is the accuracy of the transfer; beyond that, the product produces no residue as in others from previous generations of transfers! The transfers produced by Avery provide limitless creativity and kids just LOVE when they can make their own Tee Shirts with PAINT programs and watch it come to "Life" on color printers. The kids just become so excited and so incredibly PROUD that they "made it" themselves. Thank you and way to GO, Avery!

Comments about Avery Iron-on Transfer Paper:

As with all Avery products I was not disappointed with my sample. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow and with Avery samples you always get a full size sample to try. Avery products are always a great buy and with their product line you always get free templates with each particular product. Due to health reasons I have not used my sample yet, but I know I won't be disappointed and will certainly want to buy more. Thank you for giving me the chance to review such great products.
