GBC DX20-19 Cross-Cut Jam Free Shredder, 20 Manual Sheet Capacity - Do you need a way to discreetly shred those piles of old papers that you kept years ago “just in case” you needed them? Or maybe it’s time to safely obliterate that stack of CDs too scratched to ever work again? Whatever your personal shredding needs may be, the DX20-19 Departmental Shredder is the perfect solution. Designed to safely shred stacks of paper as well as credit cards and CDs, this shredder offers a medium security level (3) to ensure that nobody will be able to ever read through all of the love notes that your middle school crush once wrote you.

Up to 20 sheets can be conveniently placed into this cross cut shredder at once, allowing users to quickly and easily get rid of significant stacks of papers; all paper is sliced into 1/6" x 1-7/9" pieces. To prevent all those finely sliced paper bits from scattering all over your floor, a large 19 gallon bin is affixed to the shredder to catch everything for maximum ease in the cleanup process. If an overeager user attempts to feed this shredder too much at once, a red indicator light illuminates as a warning signal, and simply removing the offending sheets should quickly solve the problem.

As an added bonus, this shredder can safely slice through paper clips and staples, so removing these from paper stacks prior to inserting them into the jaws of the shredder is not necessary. Additionally, Jam-Free technology prevents any paper (or CD, or credit card) jams from blocking up the shredder, so you shouldn’t have to worry about spending time having to unclog your handy shredder. Of course, your energy is not the only energy that this shredder is designed to save. More specifically, the DX20-19 Departmental Shredder is even outfitted with an “auto shutdown system,” in order to conserve electrical energy as well.
