Rapid brand has been a mark for quality staplers and other tools. Some of their stapler products have proven to be reliable designs since rolling off the line 70 years ago.
When World War II interrupted their supply of staplers they needed, the Swedish company started creating their own. Their creation, the Rapid K1 plier stapler, proved to be a huge success, followed soon by the K2. Rapid also invented the hammer-tacker and staple gun. Rapid's line has expanded to include desktop, heavy-duty and electric staplers.
Since 2010, Rapid is a division of Esselte, the largest office supplies manufacturer in the world.
