Ampad Notebooks, Steno Pads and more

American Pad & Paper, Ampad for short, has been around for more than 100 years making legal pads and other paper products.

Ampad got its start in 1888 in Holyoke, Massachusetts. The company took paper unusable by local mills, added ruled lines and bound them together to create the legal pad. This has been Ampad's staple product throughout their history, and they have expanded their line to wirebound notebooks, steno pads and envelopes.

Since 2010, Ampad has been a division of Esselte, the largest office supplies manufacturer in the world.
