sorry, maybe I found a bad batch, but the smart straw thing was a stupid idea. I've purchased 3 of these, and will never use your product again until you go back to the original spray can. I ended up eventually throwing those 3 away, because they sprayed on everything except what I wanted them to. Great product, Terrible can.

Nozzle sucks

By

Comments about WD-40 Lubricant Spray:

I have bought two cans of this product with the nozzle and neither one worked at all. Just foamed at the top. Very cheesy design. I really like WD-40 but the nozzle really turns me off to the product.

I'm on my 3rd can. None of them was used more than 50% of the contence .The cans always stop spaying before they are empty. Your old style worked good.I was able to use it till it was empty. Smart straw equals product bought and thrown away.Gary Watkins

Poor design

By

from New England

Comments about WD-40 Lubricant Spray:

I have been using WD40 for decades and when I needed a new can this was the only one our store was carrying at the time. It worked ok the first time but after that it would dribble and drip after being used so I had to store it wrapped ina paper towel then placed in a deli container. It now no longer sprays or it spritzes out in the wrong direction.
I don't feel this was an innovative advancement for the world of lubricants. The old removable straw worked quite well and I hope I can find it next time I'm in the store

12 oz can ALWAYS out of gas

By

from Tucson, AZ

Verified Buyer

Comments about WD-40 Lubricant Spray:

The 12 oz. can ALWAYS runs out of gas after you use about 3-4 oz! What a waste of time (because you thought you had some you could use & now you have to go out and buy some more) and money (you buy the big can so you don't have to keep going to the store, but still have to anyway because it's out of gas and still 3/4 full).

straw does not fit

By

from Edmonton, AB, Canada

Verified Buyer

Comments about WD-40 Lubricant Spray:

Just bought a can and the straw does not fit :( OCT 2017, how is this even possible, people have reviews complaining about this for years.... Must have been some great price on a plastic straw to keep including one that is to small to fit in the nozzle, you cant even wedge it in. I went to another store and tried, the same experience. Although this may provide a great opportunity for me to make my own product with olive oil or sunflower oil for my household uses. WD-40 we have loved you for years, time to say good bye.

Great idea, works horrifically!

By

from Ringgold, GA

Comments about WD-40 Lubricant Spray:

This two way straw "feature" is useless. When I try spray a stream it comes out both places a subsequently is nothing but a mess. I threw the entire can in the trash after attempting to use a dozen times w the same result. Very disappointing!

Smart straw can, not so smart

By

from Undisclosed

Comments about WD-40 Lubricant Spray:

I've been buying WD-40 for decades. My current 8oz can has quit working. I've tried the tips on the site to no avail. It's money wasted. Also the video states don't shake the can, the can says to shake it well. Perhaps I shook off the straw inside???
