Costs less than White Bathroom Tissue, 400 vs. 300

By

from California, United States

Comments about Seventh Generation 100% Recycled Unbleached 2 Ply Toilet Paper:

Actually costs less, more per roll (fewer cardboard tubes too). When comparing costs with Whitened Bathroom Tissue, don't forget to check the sheets or total area. 400ct vs 300ct on white. Also means fewer times you need to change the roll.

Pleasantly surprised

By

from Undisclosed

Comments about Seventh Generation 100% Recycled Unbleached 2 Ply Toilet Paper:

More comfortable than I thought, especially switching from Cottenelle with Aloe. I thought it would take a lot more getting used to, but it has been just fine on the comfort end. I think it looks pretty color pale brown in my bathroom and has been an interesting conversation starter for guests. I like the idea of nontoxic toilet paper, environmental friendly. This brand met all the "nontoxic" requirements for me: unbleached without chlorine, no dyes or fragrances.

lack of instruction

By

from Undisclosed

Comments about Seventh Generation 100% Recycled Unbleached 2 Ply Toilet Paper:

We can't find any instructions on the bath tissue. We have tried it in the bath but it just falls apart. I have used it in the toilet but my finger goes right through. I have tried doubling it up but it still tears. I wonder how many layers are needed? What is to be done with it after use?

Works Fine, Costs a Little More

By

from College Park, MD, United States

Comments about Seventh Generation 100% Recycled Unbleached 2 Ply Toilet Paper:

I've started using Seventh G's unbleached because it has the least impact on the environment. But why, if less water and electricity are being used to make it, does it cost more than SG's bleached recycled TP?

      A:

Seventh Generation does not add formaldehyde to any of its products intentionally. Since they are using recycled content for their paper they do not always know the previous life and what it was exposed to.

They only process the paper with hot water and hydrogen peroxide.
