Comments about HON Park Avenue 5001 Series High-Back Chair:

I work from home and am at my desk all day long.

The memory foam seat is awesome. It has great features. The lumbar support is very good. It has five legs with casters.

The not so great: The user guide booklet I got from Hon does not give clear instructions on using the features. The chair has a 250 pound weight limit. The seat size is rather small. The casters are not suitable for all flooring types.

I would recommend this to a friend if the friend was well under the weight limit of 250 pounds and not very tall.

  • Q:

I bought this chair used. I have no user manual. It is really comfortable.
Pneumatic seat height adjustment, 360° Swivel, Tilt Tension, Tilt lock, and Mid-range knee tilt.

I know how to use the first two features. Can anyone tell me how to use the tilt tension, tilt lock, and knee tilt?

For the Hon Park Avenue Executive Chair, the tilt tension can be adjusted with the large knob under the front of the seat and the tilt can be locked with the lever on the left side. Knee tilt means that the pivot point between the base and the seat is slightly farther forward than conventional chairs. It does require an adjustment.
