HON 10700 H10799 Pedestal Desk - Double-pedestal desk is part of HON 10700 Series Laminate Wood Desks with worksurfaces and outer end panels clad in multilayer, high-pressure laminate that resists water, abrasions and most solvents. Rich mahogany finish covers durable, 1-1/8" thick, solid-core, high-performance particleboard that resists warping. Elegant hardwood trim is stained to match the top-grade, stain-resistant laminate. User-friendly waterfall edges offer a gentle, curved profile. Two full pedestals maximize versatile storage space with a box/box/file design in one and file/file design in the other. All drawers lock. Five-sided drawer construction allows easy drawer alignment. Hangrails in all file drawers offer side-to-side letter-size and legal-size filing and front-to-back letter-size filing. Desk also features double-radius edge detail, 10-1/2" recessed modesty panel, and two worksurface grommets to route and hide cords. Adjustable hex leveling glides allow easy leveling without lifting.

File drawers operate on full-extension steel ball-bearing suspensions and store letter-size or legal-size files (hangrails included). All 72" wide desks feature a conference overhang. Full-height pedestal design maximizes storage space. Desks, credenzas, returns and lateral files feature interchangeable core removable locks. Desks, credenzas, return and bridges feature two cord grommets to route and hide wires and cables. Bridges connect a single pedestal desk or peninsula to a single pedestal credenza. Furniture is certified by SCS to be in compliance with specific indoor air quality emissions requirements and meets or exceeds applicable ANSI/BIFMA standards.
