The TR1200-DT3 is designed to work with most standing desks. The console includes buttons to control the speed, start and stop the belt and sync with Bluetooth-enabled Windows and Mac computers. The digital LED display shows steps taken, walking time, calories burned, distance traveled and walking belt speed.
LifeSpan treadmills use 6 independent shocks to hold the walking deck above the frame and absorb impact when your foot strikes the belt. If you plan on walking 10,000 or more steps a day, which we recommend, a good deck suspension will allow you to walk longer with less fatigue and without causing joint pain or injury. A side benefit to isolating the deck with this type of suspension is a much quieter walking experience because the impact of your foot hitting the deck doesn't resonate to the rest of the treadmill.
The TR1200-DT3 comes standard with two LifeSpan trademarked technologies: The built-in Intelli-Guard pauses the belt if you step off during your workout. This is a unique safety feature for the user and those around them. When your foot no longer continuously strikes the belt surface for 20 seconds, your treadmill will automatically pause. The Intelli-Step feature counts and records the number of steps you take and displays them on the console.

Q:I"m trying to decide between the TR1200-DT3 and the TR5000-DT3 Walking Desk Treadmill. Can you tell me what the major difference are? I've compared them with your comparison chart and I don't see the justification for the increased cost for the TR5000-DT3.
