Comments about Aurora Recycled 1/2" 3-Ring Binder:

I got these binders to decorate to present certificates to teenage girls, wanting something different than the normal plastic binders you find at the store. These are sturdy and easy to embellish. The material is a slightly higher quality corrugated cardboard, so the edges aren't pretty. I had been expecting chipboard, but I was able to cover the rough edges easily with washi tape to make them look nice. For the price, I'd say they were an excellent value.

  • Q:

I need to know the EXACT measurements of this binder. We have laminated pages 8.5 x 11 inches BUT with the lamination it makes it a bit bigger. I need to make sure that I can use these without lamination sticking out over the top/bottom or sides.

11.25"W x 11.63"H are the exact measurements for this binder.

  • Q:

How rigid is this chipboard. I need a chipboard binder that is very sturdy.

They're fairly rigid, but they're not chipboard. It's a denser corrugated kraft cardboard, and about 2mm thick. I wouldn't recommend them for carrying around rough in a backpack, but they're definitely sturdy enough for office use.
