I used the Gillette Venus Tropical disposable razors consistently for 4 weeks and I honestly can't tell any difference from other disposables. Pros: comfortable grip handle, nice packaging, trusted brand, close shave, pretty colors. Cons: Only 3 blades so I had frequent nicks and cuts, caused razor bumps/burns after every use except the first, provided same shave as any other disposable I have ever used.

I have tried several different brands of disposable razors with the same effect...razor burn, so I was excited to give this a try. I used the Gillette Venus Tropical Disposable Razors several times so I could truly gauge the effect. After the first use I was pleasantly surprised because it didn't leave any razor burn/bumps on my armpits or legs. However, that pleasantness was short lived. All subsequent uses caused the typical-for-me razor burn and bumps that disposable razors cause. I was excited to try these razors because I thought disposable technology had changed in the last few years since I have used one. But, alas, nothing has changed and they still cause horrible burn and bumps. I will be going back to my refillable razors.

I received a 3 pack of the Gillette Venus Sensitive Disposable Razors to try for free . I used one and was very satisfied with the razor. Mt two daughters used the remaining to . One likes the moisture strips , the other likes the flexible head and for me I like both plus the 3 blades seem to make shaving a lot easier and also get a closer shave .

After using this Gillette Venus Disposable Razor for longer, I am less satisfied with it. The blades become dull very quickly and it gives an even rougher shave. Again, it is not the worst product in the world, but it works nowhere near as well as it could. I received this one for free from Gillette to review, so I used it, but I do not think that I would pay for this razor if I had other options available or recommend it very highly to any other people.

I was very happy to try Gillette's Venus Tropical Disposable Razors! I'm also excited to share my review because I believe that the razors are a good product! After using them in the shower a couple times to give them a fair review, I decided that the razors did give me a close shave! But on the other hand they maybe got a little too close as it did seem to make tiny cuts around tricky spots like my knees and ankles! It did do a good job on my underarms as I never got a red rash even days later after I shaved! The handle is easy to hold which makes using it simple! I also didn't notice a scent like they advertise but when paired up with the Gillette Lavender Kiss Satin Care Gel, it didn't really matter! After shaving, it did give me the feeling of hydrated skin which is what we all want! Overall it was a good product and I will be packing one in my travel bag to take on vacation! Thanks again to Gillette for letting me try their product for free!

I had my reservations about the Gillette Venus Tropical Disposible Razors before I even tried them. They were smaller than I was used to and those colors seemed like a gimmick. Boy, was I wrong! These little razors do a fabulous job and are great in those tight areas like ankles, behind knees and bikini spots. Buy 'em!!!

Wow! I received this product from Gillette for testing, and I was a little bit nervous. I used to use 5 blade razors, and the three blades were a little bit intimidating. The first time I used one of these was pure magic. The blades felt like they were gliding across my legs, but I felt no scratchy sensation like I would sometimes get from a razor with more blades. It was an incredibly smooth shave, and I could already tell I had less irritation than I'm used to. As the days went by I didn't get any irritation at all! That was probably the first time that I have ever shaved that I have not gotten irritation! I was immediately hooked on these razors! I have definitely mentioned them to all of my girl friends, and would definitely recommend them to anyone I know!

I usually purchase what ever razor is on sale at the time. After being provided Gillette Venus Tropical razors for free by Gillette in order to review , I will definitely repurchase this brand. These gave a very close shave without causing razor bumps. I was also able to shave my knees and ankles without nicks. These razors will stay sharp and rust free for at least 2 weeks if dried and stored out of the shower. The scented handles are not very noticeable and are in my opinion, not necessary.

I received a 3 pack of the Gillette tropical razors and a lavender satin creme complimentary of Gillette to test out and I love it! Finding a good razor has always been very hard for me but once I tried the Gillette tropical razors I was in love! After the first day of using them my skin was soft and so smooth! I have never gotten such a good result! I would say the razors last about 5 weeks a bit less depending on your hair type. My leg hair grows pretty quickly so I tend to use them up quick but they are definitely worth buying! The satin creme is also very amazing! The smell lasts a very long time and it leaves my skin smelling amazing! I think what I love most about it is the fact that it does not leave my skin dry. I have had this problem for a while with shaving creams but this Gillette satin care moisturizes and gets the job done!

I was sent the Gillette Venus tropical razors to try. When I use them they give me a nice clean and smooth shave. Even my husband is now using them. I will definitely be buying these in the future. For a disposable razor they are really good. I like that they have aloe and you notice a difference with it. Besides the shaving gel moisturizing your legs I noticed that the razors do as well.

I reviewed the razors a month or so ago... I was not impressed (they caused tiny nicks all over the lower part of my legs) but gave one to a friend to try and she raved about them... Over the weekend I was faced with a do or die situation... I needed to shave and had no more replacement heads for the razor I am currently using. Seeing as how I still had 2 of the Venus Tropical Disposables that I received free from Gillette, I had to bite the bullet... I was terrified at first because I was scared I would be in the same situation again, my right leg on fire from all the tiny nicks... But I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure if maybe there was a defect in the blades in the one I originally used or what may have happened but this time I got a very smooth shave, no nicks or cuts whatsoever and even decided to try it on my under arms and bikini area... Same results, smooth shave, no nicks or cuts. So they say you never get a second chance to make a first impression but luckily for the Venus Tropicals they received their second chance and I am so glad I gave them the second shot.

I am totally in love with my current razor but was willing to try Gillette Venus Tropical Disposable Razors! They were free from Gillette, so there was nothing to lose! I paired it with Gillette shaving gel and after my shower I felt that my legs and underarms where smooth and soft, making them feel hydrated! The handle and shaver has an easy to use design that makes holding and using it easy although it did seem to nic my skin in a few spots! I didn't notice a scent like they advertise they have but that doesn't really make any difference to me because the shave gel smells great! I will continue to use my original razor but take the disposable razors on my overnight trips! I didn't give them five stars just for the fact that they cut me around my ankles and knees but other than that I didn't mind them, just don't think they move quite as nicely as I would like! Gillette gave me the opportunity to try their Gillette Satin Care Lavender Kiss Shave Gel and the disposable Gillette Venus Tropical Razors for free. I've always been a fan of the Gillette brand and was not disappointed this time either! The shave gel had a light scent and allowed for a close comfortable shave. My legs and underarms were left smooth and felt hydrated. The disposable razors offered an easy to use design and provided a comfortable shave without any razor burn. I was able to shave tricky curves with ease. I loved the easy to hold handle but I can say I really didn't notice any scent from the razors. I did find it super convenient to have a well made disposal razor during my overnight trips. Overall, I would certainly continue to use the shave gel but I think I will continue to use my refillable Gillette Venus razors unless I'm traveling and will bring this disposable version for my convenience..
