After a few tries, I figured out that if you sign up to Avery and print from online, it has a feature to adjust the alignment. It won't work out at all if you don't do it this way, or else you'll just be wasting your time and money. You have to play around with it a bit. The best tip I have is when aligning, only print out 1 (one) tag at a time on the page, not a whole page (it's the custom print). That way you're able to see the difference of adjustment, you don't waste paper and ink, and you can hold the image behind the actual tags if it fits. Once you're satisfied, choose to print the every tag. There is some learning curve, but it's pretty simple once you get the hang of it.

Using the provided formatting, we printed our first set of 21 labels. After following all of the provided directions we are left with 6 usable labels, and 15 unusable labels. The number of unusable would have been much higher had we used one of your more complicated label designs. We are incredibly dissapointed and expected much more seeing that your labels are rather costly.

    Comments about Avery Self-Laminating ID Labels, 4 x 6 Sheet, 2 3/4 x 3 3/4, White/Gray, 8/PK:

I got these to use as wine labels, they're smaller that I wanted, but the 4" x 5" are not readily available. These don't print to the edge so you get a white frame around the dark colors.

    Comments about Avery Self-Laminating ID Labels, 4 x 6 Sheet, 2 3/4 x 3 3/4, White/Gray, 8/PK:

So frustrated with the templates. Can't add my logo because it is in the middle of the square and can't be moved. Liked the old templates better. At least you could easily edit them. Trying to do anything with these templates is frustrating!

    Alignment POOR!

    By

    Comments about Avery Self-Laminating ID Labels, 4 x 6 Sheet, 2 3/4 x 3 3/4, White/Gray, 8/PK:

    1. These labels are absolutely worthless! I've gone through 3 sheets. Tried doing a "trial" print on regular paper before doing the final print, but wouldn't adjust at all.
    2. I've tried adjusting the printer adjustments, but that didn't work at all. The top couple of rows print correctly, but the lower 3-4 rows print very high. There is no way to adjust the lower rows.
    3. I've got a small business and wanted to add a special touch with labels, but that isn't going to happen!
    4. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE LABELS!

4 Sheets Printed, Not 1 Usable Label

    Comments about Avery Self-Laminating ID Labels, 4 x 6 Sheet, 2 3/4 x 3 3/4, White/Gray, 8/PK:

I've used round, clear, glossy Avery labels and never had a problem. First time using these white Avery labels.
    ---------------------------------------

Used the online template through My Avery. Printed a test page on a plain sheet of paper. Checked alignment of the test page with the label page.
Everything lined up perfectly so I moved on to printing my actual labels.

Label page #1 printed 1" too high even though the test page lined up with the label page. So I adjusted the printer and printed label page #2.
Label page #2 printed too low and only printed 6 labels instead of 9. So, I readjusted the printer and printed label page #3.
Label page #3 went back to printing 1" too high even though it was set to print 1/2" lower than label page #1.
Gave up on that particular print job and went on to another project using the same label/template.

Project #2: Printed a test sheet and everything matched up.
Printed label page #4 and these round labels printed SQUARE and too far too the left.

    Gave up.

    Unusable print program

    By

    from Rochester, NY

    Comments about Avery Self-Laminating ID Labels, 4 x 6 Sheet, 2 3/4 x 3 3/4, White/Gray, 8/PK:

The print program no longer aligns the stickers to the printed images, resulting in NO images lining up with the sheet. Up until recently, I had no problems with the Avery printed labels and used them regularly for my small business. I can no longer use this because I cannot get it to align. I searched for a fix and found numerous others with the same issues; frustrated customers left in the lurch because the labels don't line up. Avery, can't you fix it? You are losing my business.

I spent a long time designing my labels only to not be able to print them because I keep getting the message"Service temporarily unavailable try again later" This is not temporary. I have read online that others have been reporting this problem for months. I have wasted a lot of money and time. I would never purchase Avery products again.

Super bummed that I actually spent money on this product. Thought it was nice the the strings came with, but when I tried to actually run them through the printer, they jammed every single time. Now I have to hand write these labs which doesn't look professional by any means.

            Comments about Avery Self-Laminating ID Labels, 4 x 6 Sheet, 2 3/4 x 3 3/4, White/Gray, 8/PK:

I've ordered these labels now four times, and first off, the first three were fabulous. (Little disappointed that the template is no longer supported within Word - not too thrilled about the online label maker, but that's for a different review.) This time however, they were white. The labels were stamped with 22822 so the labels weren't in the incorrect packaging, and the size was correct. What's up Avery? If I order these again, will I get clear? Is 22822 going to be matte white from now on? I don't know if I should order more or try and find another label...

            Comments about Avery Self-Laminating ID Labels, 4 x 6 Sheet, 2 3/4 x 3 3/4, White/Gray, 8/PK:

I've gone through two packs of this label 22814 and I still don't have the labels printing correctly. Some of the labels are lining up while others on the same sheet are not. It's ridiculous to spend an entire day trying to get these labels to work, plus the expense of it for getting nothing at the end of all the effort.

If you were like me and bought these thinking you would be able to print on them I have an idea for you.

Look at the images posted with this review.

            1. create 4-6 tables on word with 3 rows and 1 column
            2. Set the rows to be 1 inch. Set the Columns to be 3 inches.
            3. Make sure that the font you choose does not change these settings
            4. With the borders still there, fill out what you would want to print on each label
            5. Print- This is your template (you may need more than a few copies because you will be taping the labels to the printer paper, and it may rip the paper when you try to take it off)
            6. Place the labels CAREFULLY over the printed sheet with guidelines
            7. Go to your document--> Table Design--> No Borders *Do this for each table
            8. Print.
            9. Repeat

While the template does a good job of keeping things grouped, it in no way matches the actual page when printing. I have ruined several pages in an attempt to print but have to adjust and slide things around to actually fit onto the page.

Argh! I just want a simple template but Avery insists on capturing my personal information to market their products to me. I've been trying to print out to their 22805 labels for over an hour now and can't get it to work.

I work in computer so, yes, I know what I'm doing. This site is just that bad.

Please, Avery, for Pete's sake... FIX IT.

For all the people frustrated with the templates and lining things up with the die cut lines there are just two tricks to these. First Use the Avery online print program. Second is youre printer settings, if its automatically resizing the image its going to throw everything off, you need to shut this setting off in your print set up even if a warning comes up that the image might be just of while printing.

When every things works correctly these look great, ill be buying more because i messed up a few sheet and using them for more things in the future. My only complaint at this point is the kraft brown doesn't come in more sizes or whole sheets
