About Me Budget Shopper

Pros

  • Easier faster than glue
  • Much faster than licking

Cons

  • Finicky about water level
  • Tends to slide on counter

Best Uses

Comments about Martin Yale Premier Combination Moistener/Sealer Machine:

It's a little finicky on water levels & speed at which you pull through the envelopes, but once I figured out it's quirks, I can average 15 envelopes per minute with ease. I'm sending out 1000 #10 envelopes with 2 business cards in each, and the envelope goes through just fine. Once you get into the rhythm, you run through 15-20 envelopes, add a little more water, and repeat. At that pace, we easily average 15 envelopes/minute. Overall, it's much easier and faster to use than glue sticks or sponges, and light years ahead of licking them.

Comments about Martin Yale Premier Combination Moistener/Sealer Machine:

Envelopes become too wet if too much water is filled. we thought that this product had some automatic mechanism only to find out that you have to manually pull the envelope through. we found it easier using a stick glue. we did request authorization for return but after shipping charges it just didnt pay, so now it's just laying somewhere in the office without any use.
