Comments about AttachmateWRQ General 1/6 BBL Brown Paper Grocery Bags:
I purchased these bags so I could have something to put my paper recycling in at my home. The local grocery stores stopped providing large paper bags and my town will not accept paper recycling in plastic bags. I also donated a bundle to my church thrift shop.
Now about the bags... They are paper bags, no question. They are a good size, exactly what I needed for my newspapers. They are medium weight. Definitely lighter weight than what I used to get from the grocery store. If using them to transport something heavy, they would need to be double bagged.
My biggest issue was the packaging. I ordered two packages of 500. One was shipped just wrapped in a medium weight brown paper. This wrapping was completely split open and exposed to the dirt & grime of the courier facilities and truck. Luckily the package somehow stayed together by the time they got to me. The other package came in a box. The bags were placed loosely in the box. Several were damaged and had to be thrown away. For what I'm using them for and the price I got them for, I'm not worried about this but I'm not sure I would want to get them if I was planning to use them in a grocery store.
To summarize, the bags are OK depending on what you need to use them for but the packaging for shipping, in my experience, was not good at all.
