Swingline ShredMaster GLHS930 High Security Micro-Cut Shredder - The Swingline ShredMaster GLHS930 is a high-security level shredder made by the ACCO Brand. The shredder automatically prevents paper jams and can hold more pieces of paper at one time, making your shredding more efficient. The machine meets Level 5 security requirements.
The Swingline ShredMaster offers super microcut shreds with a throat of approximately 10 inches and a 9-sheet capacity. Shredding at 13 feet per minute, the ShredMaster offers Level 5 security, which means that it meets or exceeds most safety levels for business and government, as well as home offices. In addition, the shredder can destroy CDs, paper clips, DVDs, staples, credit cards and most types of paper. The waste bin can hold up to 30 gallons and pulls out for easy removal and emptying.
Measuring in at approximately 41 inches high by 27 inches wide by 26 inches large, the ShredMaster is black and gray to blend into most office environments. The shredder uses 120 volts of power and shuts off automatically after two minutes of non-use.
Swingline offers a one-year limited warranty on the cutters with a two-year limited on-site service warranty.
Directions for Use
Plug the power cord on the Swingline ShredMaster into a power outlet and turn on the main switch to “ON”. Press the “Auto” button for five seconds to prime and warm up the machine and then press “Auto Feed”. Place paper for shredding into the feed area and the machine will start to shred automatically. Add more items to be shredded when the auto feed area is empty or the machine stops working, which will occur after two minutes of no use. Connect the CD tray onto the shredding bag frame before shredding CDs, DVDs or credit cards. Press the item(s) slowly through the safety guard slot and then empty the waste bin when finished. Shred up to eight CDs or credit cards at a maximum before emptying the waste bin. Remember to remove the CD tray before shredding paper. Turn off the shredder when not in use as an additional safety precaution. If the ShredMaster will not operate, the power cord is connected, and the machine turned on, the bin is likely full. Open the front access door, remove the waste bin and empty, and then return the waste bin to the unit. Press “Auto” to resume power and shredding.
