  • Q:

I used my Bistro marker on a newly painted chalkboard wall in my pantry. After the marker dried, I was unable to completely remove the writing with a damp, even wet paper towel. Is there another way to remove the writing from my wall?

These markers do not work well with chalkboard paint -- I had the same problem with my own chalkboard wall. I ended up using a magic eraser (the melamine sponge) and after a LOT of scrubbing it mostly came off. These are fantastic for chalkboard vinyl, but not for the porous paint.
