i bought this product to be used in our science experiments which included comparing temperatures of various materials .in the pack there were ten thermometers but each one read a slightly different temperature ranging between 15-23 degrees C. which is frustrating and inaccurate since you want them to have the same reading so students can make correct conclusions. disappointing!

Comments about Learning Resources Counting & Place Value Pocket Chart:
These durable thermometers are great for elementary and middle school students to use when measuring temperature, especially since they go from below 0 to above 100 degrees Celsius. I have also used them for 100th day of school activities when measuring ice, cool water, room temp. air, hand temp., boiling water, and steam. For the elementary grades, I recommend coloring in the below zero areas with blue sharpie, so they do not get confused with below 10 degrees and above 10 degrees or even covering up the Fahrenheit side with masking tape to only measure in one scale.

This goes down as one of the worst products I have ever purchased. The "white board" is nothing but white poster board with a magnet behind it. The expo markers will not erase off of it as it is PAPER! Using a clorox wipe is the only way I could get the marker off and it made the board wet and ruined it the very first time I used it. Horribly made!!!

This is the ultimate interactive calendar!! Love how easy it is to change the months out. ALSO the dates have two sides a red and a black so it doubles as pattern practice for the little ones. Comes with TONS of extras for holidays and some blank ones to add what you want. Couldn't homeschool without this calendar!!

These thermometers do not measure temps equal (about a five degree range) and the alcohol separates easily into bubble.

Apparently it's simultaneously 16° and 24° on my desk. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to have my students do a science experiment where they compare outdoor temperatures between sun and shade when the thermometer is utterly unable to give them any data.
Useless rubbish!

This truly is the perfect solution to needing a magnetic white board that could be used for math talks, writing, story sequencing, morning message, etc. in our class gathering spot at the back of the room! I used to laminate large white sheets of construction paper to write on during math talks at calendar time and the dry erase marker did not erase well with the lamination. With the pocket chart at the bottom, I can insert cards or sentence strips with story problems, math problems, etc. in the pockets and work out the problems on the whiteboard as well as use it with my magnetic Ten Frames. I also plan to use it for writing morning messages since I don't have an easel with a whiteboard. I'm sure I will find many other uses for it once school starts!

This was a gift for our Grandson who loves numbers & addition, etc. Grandson is 3 years old & he loves working with the numbers. His one year old sister also enjoys the numbers & is learning by watching her brother.

We love the pocket chart calendar. It was so easy to put together, and it's fun to update with each new month, holidays and all. It includes several holiday, occasion, and event cards to put in place of each day's number. We're able to keep track of the days/months/year but also the weather each day. It's also very sturdy and washable! Love that feature!

Comments about Learning Resources Counting & Place Value Pocket Chart:
We LOVE this calendar! This is the great quality I expect from Learning Resources. It is sturdy and colorful. There are extra cards for writing your own holidays or weather descriptions. My kids (ages 4 and 7) love it!
The only thing I would say could be changed is to have a row of pockets on the backside for storing the cards not being used. I had to put the other cards for months, seasons, years, etc in a plastic baggie and have them stored elsewhere, but sometimes I forget where. The pockets at the bottom of the calendar (on the front) are great for the number days, holidays and weather cards, but they cannot support all the extra cards. Not sure a bunch of pockets on the back would be the best option, but it would be nice to be able to keep everything together. Not a huge deal but something I thought I should mention.
Overall, we love this calendar and will not go back to paper calendars again! (P.s. I home-school, so I get a lot of use out of these kind of calendars)
