To test my instant battery charger, I allowed my iPhone to go completely dead and shut down. Plugging the charger in, it took about 4 minutes for there to be enough charge to power it back up. At first, there was only 5% charge showing, but it kept coming up as I used the phone. I watched videos for an hour, a good test. The charge built up to 25%. I let the phone "rest", using it intermittently over the next 2 1/2 hours. The charge read 40%. I watched 1/2 hour of video, the charge dropped to 30%. I unplugged the charger, wondering if I could "restart" a dead phone with it. I used the phone very sporadically for the next 5 hours. So 1 1/2 hours of video, plenty of texting, calling, and Internet, the end result: My phone was on for 9 hours before dying again. Was I able to restart the phone a second time? Nope. Am I satisfied? Yep, my phone was on plenty long from one charge. I need to buy another battery, this rig's going in my emergency kit.

it works but did not realize that the battery would charge my Samsung SII just one time and that is all. I need to charge my phone up once a day. A person can spend a lot of $$$ just for the batteries. Granted the charger is very small and light to carry around..better than another charger I have but at least my other one can be recharged to use over and over.

Don't waste your money

Comments about Rayovac 2-Hour Power Emergency Charger, Apple? 30-Pin Connector:

This would be a great and convenient product if only it would work. I tried it on my Samsung and the charging bar moved twice and then stopped. This happened with numerous tries. I'm going to try a different type of portable charger.

small easy to carry

Comments about Rayovac 2-Hour Power Emergency Charger, Apple? 30-Pin Connector:

This is simple and works great. I have a larger battery charger and you have to put the phone down to charge. With this small size and direct connection , you can still use your phone. I can carry extra batteries, they are small. And light.

Tested the charger on my LG Lucid. Phone started to charge OK, as normal. Have a rechargeable battery pack that I used, phone states on slow charge. Can not comment on battery life, good emergency charger. Noticed that the local Menards is carrying this charger.

batteries expensive

By

from pittsburgh, pa

Comments about Rayovac 2-Hour Power Emergency Charger, Apple? 30-Pin Connector:

Replacement batteries are expensive. The kids needed a rechargable device so they can listen to music and play games on the bus. Kept the product for power outages or emergencies, but not good for everyday use.

Comments about Rayovac 2-Hour Power Emergency Charger, Apple? 30-Pin Connector:

We tried this on three of the phones that the box stated it would work on. None of them worked. It also doesn't work in an Iphone 5. The other model does work in an Iphone 4. I cannot recommend this product at all.

Convenient and out of mind

By

from Southern California

Comments about Rayovac 2-Hour Power Emergency Charger, Apple? 30-Pin Connector:

My wife tends to run her iPhone battery close to death at any given time for whatever reason. Now she can throw one of these in her purse, one in her suitcase and maybe one in her car. She's always on the go and charging strategies are never at the top of her list. With an advertised shelf life of ten years, my wife doesn't need to worry about dying iPhones. Just replace the battery after use.

Comments about Rayovac 2-Hour Power Emergency Charger, Apple? 30-Pin Connector:

I love my new 2 Hour Power and had to buy the replacement batteries! Rayovac batteries are affordable and these replacement batteries have a 10 year shelf life! These will definitely keep my phone going through power outages! I'm buying more for friends and family so we can stay connected when the weather doesn't want us to.
