Amped Wireless SR20000G High Power Wireless-N 600mW Gigabit Dual Band Repeater and Range Extender - The High Power Wireless-N 600mW Gigabit Dual Band Repeater expands the range of any 802.11a/b/g/n wireless network by repeating the signal (2.4GHz and 5.0GHz) from a wireless router and redistributing it in a new "extended" location. The SR20000G is equipped with advanced dual 2.4GHz 600mW amplifiers, 5.0GHz Amplifiers and 5dBi dual band high gain antennas to extend Wi-Fi coverage by up to 10,000 sq ft. The High Power Dual Band Repeater features 5 gigabit ports that allow additional networking devices, such as PCs and network switches to be connected at blazing fast speeds. The High Power Dual Band Repeater works with all brands of single band or dual band Wi-Fi routers and service provider gateways. The SR20000G is the most powerful, versatile, universal Wi-Fi range extender available.

I bought this device over one year ago, with the intention to use it as a WiFi extender, but actually found it functioning very well as a single access point for the entire house & garden. I placed it in the attic, it copes well with high temperature there, it is connected with an ethernet cable to my router (as this gives optimal performance), and the coverage is excellent, all around the house and the area (and I spent a lot of time trying to use other devices, without much success), even though I am using only half of the power. It is very stable and there are no surprises, no need to reboot, etc. I had a minor issue after an upgrade to the latest version of firmware, and asked the support to help me to downgrade it back to the previous version. They immediately helped me with that, sent several versions of firmware, and I continue to enjoy great WiFi coverage without any issues. A rare example of customer service that listens to the customer needs (rather than a script provided by someone who thinks they know better). My concierge was #127/Ricardo, and I would like to thank him specifically.

Have been exceedingly pleased with Amped router R20000G in a few locations, & I combined that with this repeater in a 1 tricky concrete highrise where rebar makes signal transmission challenging. The combination works great. I used to use DLink, Netgear & others...now just pick the appropriate product from the Amped line. Though I've only had to call for tech support a couple of times, their availability & competence are as good as any I've found in the PC world. No...I don't work for Amped or know anyone who does; am just a very satisfied customer.

I had a problem connecting my WiFi range extender to my computer. I called Amped Wireless customer support and was helped by Nick - concierge #177. We have had Amped wireless extender for a while. we changed routers so we had to reboot and reconfigure the extender. we ran into a few problems and Ralph Marquez took such good care of us that I needed to write great review for him. I recently moved and had problems reconnecting the expander. I called tech support and Alan did a fantastic job walking me through connecting the unit to my router and network. He absolutely has the knowledge necessary and most of ll had great patience with me. I appreciate all the help he gave me. We are now up and running.

Marc (Concierge #174) provided excellent tech support in solving the communication issue between my new AT&T router and trusted Amped range extender. He was patient yet pleasingly unrelenting in taking the time and expending the effort in exploring all possibilities until the problem was solved via identifying and isolating relevant settings that needed to be modified. He didn't give up or "punt." He did what it took to take care of the issue par excellence. Mr. Supervisor, give this guy a raise!! :)
