APC RBCs are safe, reliable and contain a minimum number of connections saving valuable time. Because APC RBCs are hot-swappable, no network downtime is required in order to install them.

Quick and easy one-screw, on-the-fly, hot swap. Five minutes start to finish. Batteries are a little pricey at over half the cost of a new unit.

I've already replaced two of these batteries on my SC-1500's (which is OK, I suppose, since I've had them for 4 years or so) but now I have to replace one of the replacements, which lasted all of nine months. Maybe this was an one-off.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
