Another great product from AT&T! You get to add your voice to the answering machine vs a computer generated voice that clients always say - it didn't sound like you or a strange voice answered, so I didn't leave a message! Excellent product - can pick up messages from another phone, cell phone, wherever you are - cool beans! If you haven't figured me out yet, I'm old fashioned and I like answering machines - been in business over 28 years and always had an answering machine with my voice and message on it. Works for us!

Q:Can the volume/sound of incoming calls be shut off so, the call comes in to the system but, no one can hear it till one decides to go back and play it?Asked on 5/16/2016 by future customer?
A:The AT&T Digital Answering System has automatic call screening, but the volume can be turned all the way down so calls are not heard. The volume will then need to be turned back up to play messages.Answered on 5/17/2016 by Adam from Columbus, Wisc.
