Roll Laminators

Hot laminators use heat activated adhesive to seal documents. Hot laminators usually provide the highest quality/most durable lamination but they shouldn't be used with inks or materials that will run or melt when exposed to high temperatures.

Cold laminators use pressure sensitive adhesives to bind lamination when materials being laminated are heat sensitive. Often times documents printed with ink jet printers will run in a hot laminators, so cold lamination is the best option.

Hot/cool laminators offer the best of both worlds and give the user the option to set temperature according to materials being laminated.

Roll laminators feed lamination by a continuous roll, not by sheets. Rolls are ideal for long banners and other continuous feed applications.
