Smead End Tab Pressboard Classification Folders - Heavy-duty classification folders feature end tabs and patent-pending, SafeShield Coated Fastener Technology to help prevent paper tears, finger cuts and excessive fastener crinkling. Dividers with tabs and fasteners let you store information under several subdivisions. Fasteners on front and back panels and dividers create separate filing surfaces within one folder. These two 2 coated fasteners on the panels are in positions No. 1 and 3. Folder offers a 2" expansion and is made of sturdy 25 point Pressboard stock with matching color Tyvek tape. The two dividers offer 1" SafeShield-coated, twin-prong fasteners and are made of 17 point stock. Folder tab is straight-cut. Divider tab is 3/8" high and 1/3 cut."

WONDERFUL - GREAT QUALITY

About Me Quality Oriented

Pros

  • Color Variety
  • Durable Construction
  • Easy To Label
  • Protects Documents
  • Well made

Cons

  • None

Best Uses

  • File organization
  • Long Term Storage

Comments about Smead End Tab Pressboard Classification Folders:

These folders are so much better than the ones I used to use. The main thing that I like are the metal prongs are reinforced with a rubber cover. When placing documents over these because of the rubber, the prongs do not bend. Yeah.....so much time is saved not fighting to get the document into the folder.

We use these at the office and they are great for keeping Client's files organized and handle large volumes of paperwork. The fasteners sometimes bend easily when putting in large amount of paper but the material are perfect to keep paperwork safe.

I work with a Multidisciplinary Team to review child abuse cases at an Advocacy Center. The ET Classification Folder with 1 divider is key to keeping information and progress notes on our cases organized. Kudos to the inventor!

    Perfect Fit

    By

    from Taft

Comments about Smead End Tab Pressboard Classification Folders:

The Smead Classification File Folder with SafeSHIELD Fasteners, 2 Dividers, Legal, Red is a perfect fit for organizing client documents. There are enough separate fastening spaces to keep all papers organized yet together in one file. The sturdy construction allows for rough handling & harsh environments.

    Great folders

    By

    from Durham, NC, USA

Comments about Smead End Tab Pressboard Classification Folders:

We use these folders at a law office for a majority of our files. The only complaint I have it the outside cover tears if I use super sticky post-it notes. I just have to be careful when I have those notes on the files.

    Poor Quality, Over Priced

    By

    from calgary, ab

Comments about Smead End Tab Pressboard Classification Folders:

We use these files in our clinic for patients charts. We started using this product for the material strength and the number of usable sections. However the more we use these files the more often we are finding quality issues. The seams are frequently out of line and there are bubbles in the tape and the glue on the spine, and there are creases in the pressboard.
