HDMI 2.0
The Bandwidth for HDMI 2.0 was increased to 6 Gbps. per lane bringing the total bandwidth of the 3 integrated lanes 18 Gbps. HDMI 2.0 is also referred to as HDMI UHD, meaning it supports Ultra High Resolutions of up to 3840x2160p at 60Hz. HDMI 2.0 is downwards compatible to earlier versions however that will influence the max supported resolutions.
