The Cat5e Kit connects Logitech Tap up to 40 meters away from the meeting room computer using category cabling.
Unlike USB, Cat5e supplies both data and power over a single cable, and thus eliminates the need for a separate outlet at the table to run Tap. Cat5e cabling can also be cut and crimped to exact lengths, doing away with cable coils for clutter-free deployments of Tap.
In all, the Cat5e Kit, with its included cabling and components, allows for the placement of Logitech Tap nearly anywhere while maintaining a clean meeting room appearance.
