Q:Are these bands rot resistant and resistant to UV. Required for outside use and exposed to sunlight, and freezing temperatures. Required for a consumer product.Asked on 3/9/2016 by Eli from Massachusetts
A:My experience is that they will rot. I have been using them to wrap cables
inside of a storage building that is not climate controlled and when I have
to use them the rubber bands fall apart. They do last a few months. I live
in a warmer climate with minimal humidity but they do not seem to do well
with the temperature change. I would guess that the temperature range in
the building can be as high as 120 degrees in the summer and as low as 30
degrees in the winter.Answered on 3/10/2016 by Anonymous

Q:When a rubber band is described as 7" length, does that mean when it is stretched out, or is that how long it is laying flat on the table? In other words does the 7" mean that is the max it will stretch to?Asked on 2/18/2014 by Sherri from United States
A:7" is the natural length. In my experience, they can stretch to easily twice that size.Answered on 1/15/2016 by Laura from Lompoc, CA
