Disappointed in the change

from Spokane, WA, United States

Comments about Scotch Quick-Drying Tacky Glue:

As a designer and educator I used the Quick Dry glue daily. I am so disappointed the in change on the bottle as well as the new formula of the glue itself. It's not the same at all. I will have to now find an alternative for my daily crafting as well as new glue to recommend to all of my students.

Love OLDER STYLE applicator

from Florida, United States

Comments about Scotch Quick-Drying Tacky Glue:

I love this glue. However when replacing I had to buy it in a smaller applicator than what I had and this new one has a tiny cap and the glue just pours out. I am wasting a lot. I would love to have the older style applicator which had a wide clear cover which had a slot for the tip which was blue. it could also be stored upside down on the lid. That is my only complaint. I wish I could find the older bottle.

Best Glue Ever

from Macon, GA, United States

Comments about Scotch Quick-Drying Tacky Glue:

I need an industrial size vat of this stuff. I love to papercraft and am buying at least a bottle a week. There is NOOOOO other glue like it... believe me I've bought them all trying to find an alternative when this was sold out. Best glue ever.

Dries clear and fsst

from Anderson, IN, United States

Comments about Scotch Quick-Drying Tacky Glue:

I use this for my papercrafting almost exclusively, but as far as your claim of a fine longer true....go back to the red tip if you want to claim 'a fine tip'.

Disappointed that label does not match product 4

from Maple Grove, MN, United States

Comments about Scotch Quick-Drying Tacky Glue:

I was looking for a different (apparently older) Scotch glue for paper crafts, but after looking unsuccessfully I purchased this glue since the package indicated a "precision tip". It does not, in fact, have a precision tip, and I am quite disappointed. I expect that I may be contacting 3M customer service to voice my concern. My rating here will reflect my frustration with the label on the packaging, not necessarily the quality of the glue itself.

Professional Results

from Florida, USA

Comments about Scotch Quick-Drying Tacky Glue:

I have been a professional paper crafter for years, so professional results are critical for success, and I have always depended on Scotch to give me the performance I need. Scotch glues come through for me every time.

I love this glue

from Langdon, ND

Comments about Scotch Quick-Drying Tacky Glue:

I cannot think of a single negative thing - only positive! This glue dries fast, and it dries clear. Once this adhesive is dry it is a permanent bond, there is some play time, just seconds where u can pull it off and reposition it but not much more than 5 seconds. This is the first glue I purchased when I began crafting because it was a brand I knew and trusted, I have tried a few others for the same purpose but none compare, this glue is a must have for any paper crafter! If you make mini albums with pockets (think Kathy Orta paper bag albums) you need this glue for the pockets, once u use it you will never try atg or another wet adhesive again.

Best Craft Glue - EVER!

from Michigan

Comments about Scotch Quick-Drying Tacky Glue:

I've been rubber stamping and scrapbooking for over 15 years. This is by far the best glue I've ever used. It applies easily, dries very quickly and holds super well. I make hand stamped gift boxes and I only need to hold the corners for a few seconds, not minutes, before they're dry! My only regret with this product is that the cap isn't wider. A lot of crafters like to keep their glue applicators upside down so it's always ready to apply. The cap on the Quick Dry glue is not wide enough to prevent the bottle from tipping over. So I keep it in a small glass jar weighted with stones. Other than that, it's near perfect!

  • Q:

Can this product be used to repair a paperback book that is losing pages and it's cover? Can it repair the binding of this paperback book? Will it hold up for years to come?

    • A:

I use it at our school to repair paperbacks that lose a page or two; just apply sparingly. I also have repaired a cover that has separated from the spine to extend the usable life of a book.
