Cords 5100 Joules - Premium protection for your expensive home theater equipment, the AV2FP Isobar 2-Outlet Low-Profile Professional Audio/Video Power Conditioning Center features a network-grade surge protection rating of 5100 joules to defend your sensitive electronics against even the strongest surges and spikes.
The AV2FP features two NEMA 5-15R outlets, one for your HDTV and one for an accessory, such as an audio receiver or Blu-ray player. This unit's unique protection system prevents disruptive line noise from causing A/V distortion, computer lock-ups, data errors and similar problems. Large toroidal chokes, ferrite rod-core inductors, HF/VHF capacitors and multiple layers of metal oxide varistors remove EMI/RFI interference and prevent system crashes, reboots and performance problems. Coaxial and RJ45 jacks also protect your incoming cable, satellite and Ethernet signals.
Because residential power outlets have three wires-hot line (H), neutral (N) and ground (G)-the AV2FP protects all three, covering two protection modes: full normal mode (H-N) and common mode (N-G/H-G).
An integrated 12A circuit breaker protects all outlets and shuts down connected equipment in the event of an overload. An on/off switch provides one-touch control over both outlets. Diagnostic LEDs confirm power, protection and ground status at a glance. Detachable 10-foot and 18-inch AC power cords include right-angle NEMA 5-15P plugs, allowing furniture to be placed flush against the wall.
