System includes the base, one handset and built-in, digital answering system. DECT 6.0 technology delivers clarity, quality and interference-free communications. Full duplex speakerphone allows you to talk and listen at the same time while on the base speakerphone. Answering/messaging function features two mailboxes, 30-minute record time, handset access, new message indicator, message counter, and remote message retrieval. Phone system also includes Call Waiting/Caller ID; 100-name/number Caller ID history; speakerphones on base and handset; 10 programmable, one-touch speed dials; backlit LCD; backlit keypad; line-status visual indicators; two-line conferencing; a distinctive ring for each line; and a Do Not Disturb/Privacy setting. Q:How can we have our recorded message be our voicemail and not what came with the phone system? How do we rollover at end of day to evening line?
A:For the RCA ViSYS Cordless Phone: 1. Make sure your phone is in idle mode. (not in Talk mode). 2. Press the MENU Soft key (left) to go to the main menu. 3. Press VOL (- or +) button to scroll to Voice Mail. 4. Press SELECT Soft key (right) to confirm and you may program the following items: Call VM and Settings. To set the OGA recording to play the After Hours greeting, set the OGA setting to Timed.
