Comments about Lorell Dry Erase Board Easel:
I use this board to write out in-store specials in my restaurant and as a menu board for outside catering. It is functional when new and hard to beat for value. 4 legs are more steady than a tripod easel. However, the board itself is very thin and the back of the board is exposed hardboard fibers. The legs are steel. Legs are also hard to adjust because the pushbuttons are hard to press and the legs rotate out of alignment for the button holes. I have concerns about using this outdoors where moisture could get on the back and cause the thin press-board to break down and the legs to rust. I may actually paint the back to prevent this.
Overall, without concern for price, I would rate this a 3 but considering the very low price, it's a really good value and so I rated it a 4/5. I would consider buying something more substantial for regular outdoor use. But then again, the intended use of this product is indoors. I just need to use it outdoors sometimes.
