UPS Connectivity Device Certified to Strict Cybersecurity Standards
This Gigabit network card for UPS systems and PDUs meets both UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 cybersecurity standards, empowering IT professionals with superior Gigabit speed, capabilities and features, while ensuring the highest level of defense against emerging cybersecurity threats. A user-configurable firewall provides an extra layer of security to protect connected equipment from unauthorized access and cyberattacks.
Hardware Root of Trust Enables Enhanced Security
The NETWORK-M3's innovative security features use a secure boot process that authenticates any attached firmware to ensure its authorized status and acts as a bottleneck to prevent a cyberattack from spreading if/when a threat exists. This "zero trust architecture" detects intrusions and locks down sensitive information for a level of security you can rely on. Email alerts are sent through secure SMTP and can be integrated with Google Workspace and Office365.
Widely Compatible with Eaton Power Management Software
The NETWORK-M3 works with multiple Brightlayer Data Centers Suite power management software solutions that provide the deeply insightful intelligence into IT power usage that you need to streamline operations and prepare for future needs. They also enable extensive automation and remote management and control that shortens response times to power issues for more resilient uptime. Brightlayer Data Centers software suite includes: Data Center Performance Management (DCPM), Distributed IT Performance Management (DITPM), Visual Power Manager (VPM), Intelligent Power Manager (IPM), Visual Capacity Optimization Manager (VCOM) and cloud-based remote monitoring services (PredictPulse in North and South America, CSM [Cyber Secured Monitoring] in Europe, the Middle East and Africa).

NETWORK-M3 turns a compatible UPS system or PDU into a managed device on your network. It enables remote management of a UPS through load shedding and safe shutdowns, and reboots protected devices attached to load segments. It monitors site electrical data, UPS self-test logs, alert logs and logged power events like blackouts, brownouts and overvoltage conditions. You can receive alert notifications via email or SMS. Real-time clock links to a Network Time Protocol (NTP) server to maintain current day and date even after a UPS shutdown.

Zero-touch provisioning automatically commissions devices faster, saving time exponentially in large-scale deployments. A certificate manager helps create and distribute digital certificates to multiple devices, which reduces the administrative burden and streamlines UPS management.
