I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW DISAPPOINTED I AM IN YOUR TRASH BAGS. THIS BOX I OPENED UP, PRACTICALLY ALL THE BAGS WERE OPEN AT THE SEAM ON THE SIDE??? REALLY?? I CAN'T EVEN USE THESE AS TRASHBAGS!! I HAD TO STAPLE THEM ALL SO I COULD USE THEM OR ELSE THEY'D JUST TEAR APART. AND I SEE FROM THE OTHER REVIEWS THAT THIS IS NOT A "ONE BOX GONE BAD" THING. NEVER BUYING THESE AGAIN! IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS, I WOULD.

Junk

By

Comments about Glad ForceFlex 30 Gallon Trash Bags:

Why do they continue to sell these defective bags after two years? I've used them for years and really liked them. The ones I bought two years ago would break the drawstring every time because the heat weld at the top burned all the way through the bag and drawstring. I tried them again a few months ago. Now one side of the top of the bag is heat welded to the drawstring, preventing it from cinching up.

How can they continue to sell these with known defects? Does anyone know of another manufacturer who produces a strong bag like the old ForceFlex bags without the defects?

Too Flimsy

By

from Columbus, GA, United States

Comments about Glad ForceFlex 30 Gallon Trash Bags:

The Force Flex Bag is strong, but has no substance to it. When I try to empty trash cans, waste baskets, etc. into it, it collapses and the trash spills. The only way dump in trash is to place the whole container into the bag, close the bag and manipulate the container to dump. This is too much trouble. I have not had this trouble with other glad bags.

Wish i could have given 0 stars

By

Comments about Glad ForceFlex 30 Gallon Trash Bags:

Every single bag has torn! At first it was at the top. You can't carry them by the drawstrings becasuse they stretch and break, and trying to grab the top of the bag just stretches and tears the bag. Then, when we got to about the middle of the box, every bag started tearing in the same exact place - a straight horizontal line across the whole middle of the bag. We've had to pick up trash all over the house, the steps, and the sidewalk. I'm sure the problem with the tears in the middle of the bag are a partially limited manufacturing defect, but the fact that you cant hold on to the drawstring or top of the bag without the bag ripping seems like a much more fundamental problem with materials and/or design. Especially consdidering how many people seem to be posting the exact same experience.

Very Disappointing

By

from Jerseyville, IL, United States

Comments about Glad ForceFlex 30 Gallon Trash Bags:

I have been using the ForceFlex trash bags for a while now. I usually get a smaller box, but this time I got the 68 box. Every bag has ripped in the exact same place. Every one has ripped about two inches from the top. I have three different trash cans and it doesn't matter what can it is, they all rip.

Horrible bags!

By

from Arkansas, United States

Comments about Glad ForceFlex 30 Gallon Trash Bags:

We usually buy Hefty and for some reason we bought these and we never will again. The closer to the bottom of the box we got the worse the bags got. The whole bottom completely fell out! So many times! Very frustrating we had atleast 20 bags do this!

Recent bags have issues

By

from Chicago Area

Comments about Glad ForceFlex 30 Gallon Trash Bags:

I buy the Forceflex bags in the 120 Ct. package about every other month. The last box I purchased has every bag rip at the top seam or a side seam. Never had this problem before and have been happy. I go through 3 bags just trying to get them into the garbage receptive without ripping. Once filled, 90% of them rip and trash ends up on the floor if not careful. What has changed? Or did I get a bad box?

I Thought I Got A Bad Batch, Red Drawstring Broken

By

from Murfreesboro, TN

Comments about Glad ForceFlex 30 Gallon Trash Bags:

I use Glad Trash Bags, especially, the Dual Flex because I have to take my own trash to the dump. I thought I had bought a bad batch because the red drawstring has broken on EVERY SINGLE One, but after reading these other reviews, I guess I am stuck with 25 30 Gallon Bags that you can't close and everything comes out. I thought Glad made a better product than that! Guess I was wrong.

Very Disappointed!!!!

By

from Walton, WV, United States

Comments about Glad ForceFlex 30 Gallon Trash Bags:

Hi, I just bought the mega pack (76 bags) of the 13 gallon kitchen forceflex bags and was extremely disappointed!!! I started using this brand of bags since that's what my parents had always used. But the quality in the bags were awful! Almost every single bag ripped from the seams when I put in the trash can. And the ones that didn't immediately rip would rip apart when I tried to tie the drawstrings. For the brand and price of these bags I expected much more. I hope the bags are improved because I wouldn't never by this product again if this is how the bags are going to remain!

Usually great and reliable but box bags had tears

By

from New Jersey, United States

Comments about Glad ForceFlex 30 Gallon Trash Bags:

I've been using ForceFlex odorshield for their strength and size and they have been great, however last box had bags that when unfolded had tears down the seams, making them useless. In a box of 120 (60 per role) I threw out at least 20 of them that were useless. For this price, you don't expect this poor manufacturing.

not up to your standards

By

from Hermitage, TN 37076

Comments about Glad ForceFlex 30 Gallon Trash Bags:

I bought this box of trash bags and I was shocked at the poor quality of this bag. I will not ever buy this kind again. I have used just 5-6 bags and each one tore just unfolding the to use it. Then paper plates even tore the bag. Also the top of the bag tried to come off from about 6-8 inches down. Now I am stuck with an almost full box of trash bags.

Terrible

By

from Maryland

Comments about Glad ForceFlex 30 Gallon Trash Bags:

I am very disappointed in this product. The bags all have a tear in them several inches below the drawstring. It's not that they tear when full ... they are already torn when initially removed from the box (see attached). They are basically useless. I will not purchase these again. Other brands have much more reliable products.

Poor Quality product

By

from Fairfield, CT, United States

Comments about Glad ForceFlex 30 Gallon Trash Bags:

I've been buying Glad force flex 13 gallon bags for a long time and noticed the quality and strength has gone down the tubes. The last box I bought (70 count) every single bag broke at the seams. When I pulled the draw string, the string easily was torn from the seams. And that happened to every single bag! It's like you are using inferior glue or what ever it is you use to keep the seams together. The bag it self was not tearing but the seams came undone and it's very frustrating. I just had to buy a new box and I bought a box of Hefty bags. Hopefully I will have better luck with those.

Not worth the price

By

from Harrisburg, PA, United States

Comments about Glad ForceFlex 30 Gallon Trash Bags:

I had just decided one day to give Forcefles a try, they seemed ideal. Then i found that nearly every bag would rip at the seams on the side of the trash bag and also the draw string would snap. I am extremely disappointed as they are a bit more than most competitors.

Awful!

By

from Undisclosed

Comments about Glad ForceFlex 30 Gallon Trash Bags:

The box says Guaranteed tear resistant! You would thinkif a bag was tear resistant, that that would also make it leak proof. Not even close!! I cannot put anything with any amount of liquid in the bags, otherwise, I have a mess to clean up when I take the bag out. I am sick of cleaning my floor from the bag leaking! I tested one this morning by simply pouring a quart of water in the bag. It leaked through with no pressure whatsoever. And the tear resistant claim? not even close. I can tear the bag with no force whatsoever. And, Unfortunately, I still have another box of these. Very disappointed. Don't waste your money.
